Some international flights have resumed at Kenya's biggest airport, a
day after a massive fire destroyed the facility's international arrivals
terminal.
The Kenya Airports Authority said Thursday it is setting up a temporary terminal for international passengers at the Nairobi airport and working toward resuming normal operations.
Kenyan authorities are working to identify the source of the fire, which began early Wednesday and burned for several hours before firefighters were able to bring it under control.
No one was killed, but two people were treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire came during one of Kenya's peak tourist months. The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is one of the busiest in East Africa, serving more than five million passengers a year.
