The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has released a temporary
timetable for the emergency electricity management ( load shedding)
programme that has been put in place.
The ECG's Public Relations Officer ( PRO), Mr William Boateng,said
Tuesday that the timetable - titled 'National Load shedding Guide'.- has
been drafted to guide load shedding for two weeks,
As per the schedule, households will lose electricity for 12 hours, and when power is restored, it will stay on for 48 hours.
According to the ECG, The timetable has been regionalised with groupings so that areas in one group will go off at the same time. Only the northern regions and Brong Ahafo Region have not been included in the guide.
