World leaders from arond the world the globe gathered in Johannesburg, South Africa, for Nelson mandela's memorial service today. President Obama was pretty busy during the event , giving a speech, shaking hands with Raul Castro.
And taking selfie with Englands Prime Minister David Cameron and Denmarks Prime Minister Helle Throrning - Schmidt. The selfie, which hasn't been spotted on Instagram or anywhere just yet.
Everybody is taking selfies these days, it seems.
Even President Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron got into the self-portrait act Tuesday at Nelson Mandela's memorial service. Im not sure whose smart phone was used, though Obama has said he doesn't have an iPhone because of security concerns.
We're also not positive who the other person in the snap is -- the AFP photo caption didn't identify her -- but it appears to be Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt.First lady Michelle Obama, meanwhile, appears to be paying attention to the program.
"Selfie," which is the Oxford Dictionaries word of the year for 2013, is defined as "a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website.
