Mr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka retires from Electoral Commission

Deputy Chairman of the Electoral Commission (EC) Ghana, Mr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, has paid a farewell visit to President John Dramani Mahama, to announce his retirement from the Commission.

President Mahama thanked him on behalf of the people of Ghana for his sterling service to the nation.
“When the history of Ghana is written, it will reflect you, Kantanka and Afari-Gyan in a pride of place,” the President told Mr Kantanka during the visit.

Mr Safo Kantanka thanked the President for the support, noting that the EC had laid a solid foundation that could only be built upon.
