The peoples Stealing The Electricity Power of Ghanaians.

The President's Assignment (The people's Stealing our power)
The Akosombo Dam started out as a mere dream of Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah Ghana's first president, his ambitious efforts in addressing the power needs of Ghanaians involved fifteen (15) years of visibility studies started by the Gold Coast colonial government.

The conclusion was that the Volta river basin needed to be redesigned into a dam. On January 22 1966 Ghanaians from all over the country descended onto the very little village of Akosombo with one accord to witness the commissioning of the Akosombo Hydro-electric dam
Ghana was on her way to become an industrial hap powered by the biggest man-made lake in Africa.
On that day in the midst the invited guests a fulfill Nkrumah declared "You see before you, in all its majesty strength and power the Akosombo dam which has tamed the turbulent waters of the Volta."

Watch the Video below

So the Akosombo has the capacity to provide 1020 megawatts of hydro-electric power for Ghana and even some neighboring countries. But Ghanians reel under the unfortunate circumstances of :

1. Load shedding
2. Erratic supply of power
3. Corruption on the part of some E.C.G employees
etc

Follow the link below to watch The President's Assignment as unveiled not my face but the faces of the companies who are making life uncomfortable for mother Ghana, the boardroom wranglings that is affecting the fortunes of Ghana and of course corruption that has encored some of the staff members of the E.C.G.
