Is President John Mahama a ‘specialist in failure’ – Prof. Frimpong-Boateng

A leading member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Prof. Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng has express worry at the way and manner the country is been governed by the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

He noted that the country appears to be in crisis and “absolutely nothing seems to be working”.

According to him, issues bordering on the welfare of Ghanaians have been shelved to the background by the government of the day; an administration only interested in indulging in excessive banter.

“Too much talk is not necessary now. What Ghanaians need now is job creation. Our agriculture industry is in a very bad state now likewise the health sector. Transportation, energy and water are under threat. These are issues the government must take a second look at for the betterment of this country,” he said.

Speaking on Adom FM, the renowned heart surgeon urged the Mahama-led government to put in place measures that will make Ghanaians feel “comfortable”.

“….If they [NDC] are not ready to do that, then Ghanaians have every right to vote them out from office. It seems they [NDC] were unprepared for power…Ghana is more important than any political party,” he added.
